The Shuttle Bus: the collective mode of transport of and for Waaslandhaven

The Shuttle Bus is an initiative launched by Maatschappij Linkerscheldeoever (MLSO) in 2009 and has been run jointly with Port of Antwerp-Bruges since 2016. This sustainable mobility solution, co-supported by the Government of Flanders, allows all port employees to commute daily at a favourable rate.

The Shuttle Bus makes the port accessible to all

The Shuttle Bus is a safe, environmentally conscious and cheap way of collectively commuting to your work destination in the port on the left bank of the Scheldt (Waaslandhaven). The buses run on fixed routes and leave at different times to and from the companies for which rides were reserved. Is your company affiliated with the Shuttle Bus? Then you can use this service as an employee at the port on the left bank of the Scheldt (Waaslandhaven).

Please note! Reservations can only be made up to:

Deadline reservation	Journeys
5.45 pm (day before)	journeys between 4 am and 12
10 am (same day)	journeys between 12.01 and 6 pm
3 pm (same day)	journeys between 6.01 pm and 10.30 pm

Missed the deadline?

You can still make reservations after these deadlines on the routes for which there are already bookings. After the deadline, no new buses will be added for a stop that was not selected by commuters who have already booked their place.

How to book?

Book your journey on the Port of Antwerp Shuttle Bus from now on using the Mbus app. Download the Mbus app via Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone). Register and provide the ID code to your employer so you can be linked and book rides.

A few more ground rules

Reservations can be done daily, weekly or monthly;
You can reserve a maximum of one month ahead;
You can opt for either just an outward journey, a return journey, or both;

Would you like to reserve your place using the app, but is your bus already full? Send a mail to zwijndrecht.cars@telenet.be and info@pendelbushaven.be.
Please note! This is only possible for planned routes and the stops along them. After the deadline, no extra buses will be added.
To guarantee everyone a seat, it is important that you respect your reservation. Do you need to make changes or cancellations during the day? This is only possible using the app. If you don’t cancel and don’t show up for your reserved journey, you will still be required to pay for it. So, please make sure to cancel: this also gives another commuter the chance of a seat.
Please note that the Shuttle Bus will not run if no reservations were made on your route. So make sure that you always reserve in good time according to the above deadlines!
